When you enrol for the CACHE Level 4 Certificate for the Advanced Practitioner in Schools and Colleges and complete a number of written and practical assignments to showcase your knowledge and skills. This course covers all that is required of a higher level teaching assistant and is among the highest qualifications a TA can achieve. Working with one of our supportive tutors, students must complete coursework, including an individual project, and 3 practical tasks. In order to do this, students must have a voluntary or paid placement within a school or college.
Throughout this CACHE Level 4 Certificate for the Advanced Practitioner in Schools and Colleges course students will learn and show leadership skills that are crucial for an experiences teaching assistant. The course also teaches an in-depth knowledge of theories as well as partnership working, supporting mental health and SEND.

The CACHE Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning covers 4 units and requires students to complete 5 pieces of coursework and 3 practical assessments. Upon completion of the course, students receive CACHE certification and this is included in the course fees.
